currently have a running 40b up, but tearing it down and re doing it.
here's my spare tank and the layout finnex fugeray gets in tomorrow i'd like a easy set up. put in flourish tabs and dose flourish comprehensive 1/2x a week. no CO2, unless you count excel-which i have too. so here are my ideas for plants: vals anubias and.... I'm going for the river bottom look and would like some plants to add that green pop. would those 2 plants work? and or what other recommendations do you have. |

Hmm... You might find some hornwort, najas, and a couple others I am drawing a blank on... Check several bodies of water and all around them if you can... Lots of plants show up in streams, big rivers deposit uprooted plants when they run low. Lakes are usually host to one or two dominant aquatics... Elodea and lots of its relatives show up everywhere. The Midwest should also host some nice vals, but I haven't tracked them down in the wild yet.

Interesting variety and textures in the driftwood. Look forward to seeing how you progress
