Depending on your location...keeping a 5g tank outside in the middle of winter just seems like it would be obvious that it would freeze solid.

I'm really curious to see what this "frozen" tank looks like.
What species of shrimp did you keep in there? I had a 20G tank outside that I was testing for leaks all summer, but I brought the inhabitants back indoors around October and the water was about 40 degrees F. |
