Found this stuff growing under a few of my java fern leaves. I am guessing it is a type of algae. Sorry about the blurry pics :/
This picture shows what it looks like attached to the plant. Plus, as you can see on the left-most leaf, the java fern does have a bit of black algae markings on it. Is that something I should worry about as well? ![]() And this is what it looked like when i plucked it off, it has a reddish tint to it

Looks like a baby java fern! They do spawn from their leaves sometimes

lol really!?
I didnt expect that at all, i thought for sure it was an algae of some sort. Well that sucks that I threw 4 of them away, but hey they only took about 2 days to form. Thanks for the help guys! |
