Default Shrimp Breeders

I'm a new shrimp keeper in the Kent Area. I'm hoping to find a few like minded individuals who may be interested in trading or selling or buying from each.

I currently keep:

Golden Bees
Blue Pearl
Fire Reds
Crystal Red and Blacks
Sunkist Shrimps

Hi Binbin. I am in Olympia. I am new to the shrimp keeping too - just purchased 10 CRS juveniles. If all goes well, I hope to have more, with different varieties. Nice to know there is someone else interested in this hobby.

Yeah only a handful folks here that I know of keeping shrimp.

My Blue Pearls almost ready to release and my golden bee just released babies today.

Here's the video and photos.

I'm in Ellensburg here. I've got red rilis, and working on my blue velvet population as well. Also messing around with some random blue rilis that popped up from my reds

Nice just added some Red Crystal today from Seachaz in Bothell and I have blue bees, tigers, Neon Yellows. Once the my other 15 finishes cycling with ADA aquasoil I'll probably get a king kong or two.

Binbin - You say you have Cardinals? Where did you get them, and what are the perimeters? Are you keeping them separate or together with any of your other shrimp? I am interested in getting cardinals and some Neon Yellows. TIA

It in a separate fluval edge with PH at 7.8 to 8 temp is 82%. I'm trying to get my TDS lower its about 380

They are alone with some yellow rabbit snails. Midway Pet actually has some for sale in Des Moines.

Do you only have the one? I may head own to Midway Pets and see if I can't pick up a couple. I have CRS in a ten gallon tank right now - was wondering if I could house them together. But my temps aren't that high - I have 78 on my tank with 7.4 PH...which is high for CRS but they appear to be handling it fine at this point. Since I am a newbie, I don't pretend to know what I am doing, just going off what everyone is saying. I started out with cycled tank water that originated from my tap - I am slowly switching over to Distilled water with the CRS hoping to bring down my PH.

Do you have Blue Orange Eyed Tigers? If so, let me know when you are ready to sell some of those.

Thanks and wishing you a prosperous shrimp colony.

Puyallup here... what's the purple shrimp in the second picture? Is it a cardinal?

Yes it's a cardinal I guess they turn a blue color at night. Or when stressed.

Hey Rob,

I have 3 sunkist shrimp that will only breed in brackish water. I dont have the setup for that. Do you keep any other freshwater shrimp you would like to trade?

Hi Binbin, I've not heard of brackish Sunkist shrimp. Do you have a picture?

These guys right here. The babies need to develop in brackish water and it looks like you maybe the guy to do it.

Pretty. Let me read up on those. Need to see if they can permanently live in brackish, and/or how/when to acclimate them from fresh to brackish.

What water parameters are they currently living in?
