I know I saw a RC thread a long time ago before I joined, but I'll start a new one!
Any help is great! So I'm looking to get into nitro RC cars. I'm thinking of Traxxas. I really don't want to pay more than $350, and 4WD is no-preference. Looking for: Off road Water proof If I can change between 2/4WD Thanks! |

Uhh i have been into Rc for quite some time. From what i know i don't think there are any cars that switch from 2wd to 4wd. Maybe the traxxas summit but i forgot. Waterproof and nitro don't really mix as well becuase I think water can get in the engine through the intake. You could try electric if you would like. Those can be like almost submerged under water.

Could you make any rc car into a nitro car? I have a big Rc car that was a gift from snap-on tools that my dad gave me many years ago. I was thinking of making it nitro or upgrading the motor on it.

anything is possible but it would be cheaper to buy a brand new nitro if you were planning on converting it. It's difficult to do and probalby very time consuming. And many electric cars have plastic frames whereas nitro cars generally have aluminum or metal frames. And nitro cars are a little beefier too.
