Utricularia graminifolia question

Is there any danger in keeping this plant with small micro fish like badis badis or with small inverts? I know the plant is carnivorous to some extent, but I'm not sure how large a prey item the plant could take down. It looks really pretty and I'd love to use it as a carpet somewhere if I could.

OMG I totally do not know that this is a carnivorous. LOL It says that it will only eat micro worms that is under the substrate? Will this eat paneria ?? will be great if they do. LOLOL

Alright, cool. I'm considering attempting to use this in a tank. I'm thinking of using it in a 10 in place of HC, and then perhaps having the HC grow on the hardscape instead. I would try a mixed carpet but, I'm doing that in another tank with glosso and DHG and while it looks okay, its rather busy looking and makes the DHG look a bit weed like.

Never try to mix carpets in small tanks, that's my lesson for the day lol.

bladders are basically the size of a pin head...though larger species, like U. gibba can take down mosquito larvae if given the chance. note that gibba is an actual aquatic species and grows traps in the water column rather than the substrate like U. graminifolia

Just keep in mind that HC and UG will probably need some CO2 injection-which might not work with more delicate inverts- to form the carpet, or start the tank dry, then fill it up once your plants have grown in. But yea I agree it's bladder traps are shrimp + fish safe. Probably capturing mostly paramecium and micro-organisms- hopefully baby planaria.
