I have a standard 55gal tank. the depth is 21in.

I am looking for medium light. Will the catalina 1x58w t5ho fixture sitting ontop the tank work?

From other posts and Hoppy's chart it seems so, but before i drop the money i want to make sure.

I don't want to battle algae constantly. It will run pressurized Co2 when setup.

would baby dwarf tears grow okay with that light? I don't plan on adding them to the tank now, but I'd like to have the option...
