Went to your facebook page, please tell me you don't market/sell those disgusting mini rod & reel sets for the aquarium! Was that link just for opinions or to promote it?

Just a couple questions, as you're a new sponsor.

Do you have photos of your actual livestock?

What are your quarantine methods and duration(s)?

Shipping methods?

@driftwoodhunter- we don't sell those nor are we trying to positively promote them but to bring awareness to the community!

@somewhatshocked-
Do you have photos of your actual livestock?

There are brief videos and we just ordered a nice camera for pics but currently do not have any. The E commerce section on our site should be up soon and by then we should have all our own pics.

What are your quarantine methods and duration(s)?

Great question! Most of the fish on the list currently are from established aquariums we've setup and taken down as we are a installation and maintenance company. Prior to being placed in their tanks, those fish were imported direct from farms (healthiest and least fatalities), shipped overnight, drip acclimated for 3-12 hours depending on difference in TDS and held for 1-2 weeks in FULLY planted tanks with UV and our "secret" medication- I can expand more on this if you'd like. Our clients pay premium prices for installs, so we make sure we don't screw those up. They just requested a layout change in a 700 gallon tank after 3 months so lots of livestock being switched in and out.

Shipping methods?
UPS 2nd day air or USPS priority mail depending on size of package. Poly bags for shrimp and snails and breather bags for fish. in insulated boxes with styrofoam as well as ice/heat packs when requested.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Kevin

Whew! Thanks, glad to hear you aren't promoting the mini rod & reel. I never saw anything so stupid - let's hope that's one product that dies a quick death...

I'm on the opposite coast so shipping would be too slow for me unless I opted for overnight, but some great deals on those fish!

As for now, we aren't doing very many shipments. Many fish are actually from taken down tanks of our clients. Our clients have had them for months so they are super super healthy and fat. These fish are definitely deals.

We are currently moving into a small warehouse so we are only doing shipments for local clients and installations but once we settle down over the next few months, we should have more variety and do more importing. feel free to post on our facebook page special requests for different types of fish you or your fellow hobbyists would like to see us have. we will definitely keep them in mind when we do shipments!

driftwoodhunter, I agree, companies that make those products should be sued for animal cruelty. a few years back, they were trying to completely ban reselling of aquarium fish in San Francisco... can't believe they're just letting those products out to the market like that.

email me, perhaps we can work out a deal for overnight =). I don't want shipping to get in the way of getting these insanely healthy and colorful fish to your tank! That's why we make shipping free!

I ordered some fish and snails from Kevin today, everything came alive and well. I even forgot to request a heat pack the water was pretty cold I didn't measure but I would guess 60 at the highest. The fish are all fine.
I ordered 12 cardinal tetra, 12 horned nerites, and a few stems. The plants look great no pics of those
(my display tank has the lights out). The tri colored nerites were much better than expected. I got a nice variety of colors and sizes. The cardinal tetra are by far the best part. Last week I purchased 8 cardinal tetra from my Lfs, they cost me 4$ a pop. They look like poo compared to Kevin's. The Lfs cardinal tetra do not have a nice deep full bodied red like these ones(no the Lfs did not sell me neons as cardinals)
These guys were 1.50 each and look great! I'm very happy with my order, and the free shipping is a huge bonus as well.

Here are a few shots I took with my iPhone

@szenic, we are out of panda cories! I just updated the list I apologize!

@dr.tran, It was given to us as Brachygobius xanthozona. We've kept them long term in full freshwater planted tanks with no problems as long as they are provided the right nutrients+food which densely planted tanks have
