I need about 20 neon orange shrimps. The population is not going too well, have to replenish because the little one can do math now...
"Daddy, we started with 23 or 25, I only count 7...where are the rest of the shrimps?" I say... "Oh, they are probably hiding...don't worry, they're fine." Help me out, pm me with what you got and price, thanks! |

You're so right...I'm so stubborn, still hoping that they both can mix, I'm pumping almost a bubble per second into a 3 gallon!

Ok, its official now, I will call my tank...The Tank of Death for Shrimps.
I somehow killed off my amano shrimps that I just got yesterday. Who actually kills off hardy amanos?!? Apparently me..... Before that, 12 blue Rilis didn't make it either. And this past summer, I Lost over 150 crs, babies and all. I blame that on the extreme NYC heatwave this year. |

Both tanks, Dan. The neos are in the 4 gallon and the amanos were in the 50.
Actually, I retract what I said before...I only killed 3 out of 5 amanos...just saw 2 walking around. Last edited by eeng168; 10-05-2012 at 04:27 AM.. Reason: typo |

I thought I killed off one of the ghost shrimps because he didnt appear after I dumped them all in the tank... but it seems like he was the smart of the three and hid from my betta until lights out. |

I also have a very strong suspicion that an Otto I put in the little 4 gallon has something to do with the missing shrimps. Before the addition, the shrimps colored up nicely, was molting and eating. Any truth to this? Will ottos bother shrimps? Last edited by eeng168; 10-05-2012 at 05:34 AM.. Reason: ... |
