Northen Colorado Plant Enthusists Group Thread

Hey Guys I was wondering if there would be any intrest in starting a group of us in the north metro area. Let me know. I have been very dissapointed in the lack of involvement in colorado and would like to generate some intrest!

I'd be interested in one farther north. Fort Collins/Loveland/Greeley area.

Though it doesn't directly answer your question, I second the Fort Collins/Loveland/Greeley area. The Denver area just doesn't work for me often enough.

We're considering moving to the Loveland area, so would be interested, too! I will probably do both CAS and the new potential one, though. ;-)

Both Curt and I are in Thorton and Northglenn, which is the farthest north area of the denver / metro area. There might be a good place half way that we could always meet to trade out some plants. I generally have a handful of ludwigia 'cuba' available And once my bush gets to a nice size some rotala magenta, and rotala rotundifolia 'green' all three are monster plants that grow very very quick in my tanks lol

I'm game. I live in Firestone, which is right between Ft. Collins/Loveland and North Denver.

I am interested in plant swapping. I don't really care where it is. I am more interested in when it is. Once every few months would be great.

Well I see there is an Intrest so for Starters we could pic different hobbiests house's for a while. what Days work for everyone and what times? My work scedual is a bit sketchy and I have a 3 year old. But would like to be and trade plants and see some tanks! All of mine are currently waiting tio be re vamped and moved so I could use a hand or two to move my 55. But just let me know so we can work something out. I am thinking 7 or 7:30 mabye fridays or sat?

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings would work well for me too. It'd be nice to give more of my stuff away instead of having so much end up in the trash.

I'll volunteer to collect email addresses and we can set something up in a few weeks (2?) ? That way we can use meetup or something similar. PM me if interested.

Remember that the Rocky Mt. Cichlid Association meeting is:
Our Next Meeting will be Sunday, September 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Englewood
Recreation Center, 1155 W. Oxford Ave. The deadline for bowl show setup is 5:45; please arrive early. Bowl Show, Mini-Auction, and much more.

They usually have plants at their auction as well as some very unusual fish. Not all cichlids. Guests are welcome. So be sure to attend.
