retrofit install in a tiny tank

hm... i was wondering if i could install this retrofit in my strip light on my 5.5 gallon All-glass aquarium tank.

how would i go by doing this? this product is pretty expensive. i don't want to get something that im not capable of installing.

Will the 2x13w bright kit from AH Supply not fit your tank?
I think you would come out cheaper and still get approx the same amount of light.
But I am prolly wrong, lol.
I would check them out if I were you.
$60 something seems like a LOT of money for such a small fixture, to me.
