2.5 Gallon WabiKusa Tank

Just transferred my wabikusa to a 2.5 gallon tank. I am having a ton of fun with this little tank.

I got this wabikusa from TPT member Geniusdudekiran. I highly recommend you guys get one from him the next time he has them available.

This is really looking great! That looks like a pretty powerful light, I'm sure it'll be really grown in in the next month or so. Considering its little mailbox incident upon arrival, it's absolutely flourished!

Thanks Kiran! Had it in a 10 gallon with CO2 and pfertz. I'm very happy brother! Can't wait to see your next creations.

Ah, I see. That was the secret! I've been using rootmedic for my personal ones which has worked well so far. One thing I like about Wabi Kusa is that it's not as exact as our planted tanks... You can just "eyeball it" and get results!

Wanted to do a little follow up. The WabiKusa is growing great. Over the weekend it grew so much that it is now reaching out of the water...

I like the look of the fixture you're using. What is it? Looks like maybe a 2 x9W CFL? Isn't that a lot of light for a freshwater nano? Excuse my ignorance if this is a stupid question. I'm just now starting research on planted tanks as I want to create a new environment for my Bettas and I'm tired of all the hardscaping. I want to do something a little more visually appealing!
