What can I keep in a 29g tank? This is what I have in my 10g and thinking of moving them to the 29g tank; 1 Dwarf Gourami 3 Neon tetras. This tank is empty right now and I'm not very sure if I will shut down the 10g or not. What I have been wanting is glowlight tetras, for sure a dario dario. Maybe someone has better ideas for a tank this size? What I don't want guppies, gold fish, plattys, shrimp, black skirt tetras, rummy nose tetras. the tank is not set up yet but this is for future ideas.

Can you even keep that many Dario Dario together?

They are very social fish, and while they don't school, they enjoy being with others of their kind

Thinking of maybe keeping up the 10g. I got 3 more neon tetras today so all together that's 6 neon tetras. So now I'm thinking of moving all the neons to this tank and Dwarf Gourami. Maybe making the 10g a Dario Dario only tank.

Also, be careful with how many dario dario are in the 10g. Id go with 5 or 6, less if you get females by chance. |

im biased but i like honeycomb cats. they are quirky little fish that only come out at night to eat, though they can be trained to eat during the day. other than that, maybe hatchetfish? a nice peaceful top dweller?

I would have neon tetras replaced by green neon tetras which are smaller, more delicate and more special.

Apistos can be very mean for no apparent reason... watch out if you do get them. If you've never had cichlids I'd recommend going with bolivian rams or keyholes. They are much less territorial than apistos, although bolivian rams seem to get a thrill out of fighting with each other (REALLY funny, and totally harmless).

I have not seen green tetras around here. I've see some that look like they have a orange light on there sides. I've never had cichlids.
