5.5 Gallon Office Tank

Long time off and on reader, first time poster.

I decided to move my 5.5 to the office to spend more time looking, thinking and messing with it.

Pretty standard stuff:
Anubius
Java fern
Dwarf sag
Crypt spiralis

I had a big die off of the sag prior to the move but I'm sure it will make a come back.

After things stable out I plan on adding some RCS and perhaps some interesting plants.

Lighting: 24 watts flouro and CF
Filter: Duetto Mini
Ferts: None right now, I have some 1-2-1 if it needs any.
CO2: Daily Excel dosing

So cool! If I get this new job, I might set up a planted nano too. No point in doing it where I am, when every day I want out of there! :-(

Looks great! Only bit of advice would be to get rid of some of that substrate near the front of the tank. It makes the thing look really cramped. If that doesn't work, slope the gravel at an angle from front to back. Just a thought.

I appreciate the advice. You are correct about the substrate, but this tank is pretty mature and doing that would kick up a lot sediment and I would have to replant a bunch of the dwarf sag. Maybe when I have to move it next time I will do this.

It is a nice little tank but needs the RCS for entertainment value, I'll go along with the substrate and it could cause problems, but I like the tank and a little Fe will green it right up.

I have started dosing Flourish Comprehensive, which contains iron. Do you think I should specifically add Iron in addition?
