Anyone know of someone that builds acrylic tanks? I'm not looking for huge tanks, just something in the 18"x12"x8" range (give or take a few inches). Probably a half dozen or so depending on price.

theres a guy out here near oak openings i think his business was called acrylic concepts... he did a lot of aquarium stuff out there and did it well
last time i was out there he was building a 400+ gal tank and it was beautiful also when i was out there last he had a couple tanks that were around 18x12x36 or so with a bunch of dividers in it to create 3 tanks in one

I wouldn't mind the dividers, all the tanks are going to be sponge driven anyways.
Any idea what prices he was asking? I'd like to swing up that way and check out Toledo Aquarium (maybe talk them into a shrimp order) and hang out with BuK.

i think when he said he was building that huge tank it was $3000+ but dont quote me on that(he was also using 1" acrylic maybe 3/4"~i believe(whatever it was it was thick)... i got my bulkheads from him for a very good price.. something like 4-5 bucks a piece...

Not a bad price on a big tank like that. Maybe I'll swing by in the summer when I graduate.
