Looking to buy another nano...

I'm about to start on another nano....but I need suggestions as to what brand of tank to buy this time. Finnex, ADA, Fluval, etc....someone give me some advice.

BTW, what's the difference between the various ADA mini's?

If you can afford it, deffinatly a rimless setup. Preferably ADA, GLA or similar. The differences between the minis are the size from what I remember. What (if I may ask) is your budget and what do you have space wise?

I'd like to spend $200 or less. Size wise I'd like to get something no bigger than a 6 gallon. Anyone know what gallon sizes are the ADA mini L, M, S ??? (And where I can get best deal on one?)

i'll go straight to the point, gla is cheaper than ada but it seems the glass is just a bit greener than the ada's but it's not like it'll affect how you see the fish or tank so you'll save a bit there. do aqua has some nice stuff at the adgshop.com it's pretty much ada just cheaper version of the ada brand. Also gla has a sale going on now on their nano tanks so best to take advantage of it while it lasts. l got a 48g rimless from them and no complaints till this day.

if you want to know how many gallons the tank holds click tech specs and then it should tell you. the do aqua section is right below the ada section and it tells you the gallons as well. either way you can't go wrong with any of those 3. lf you have any more questions feel free to send me a pm.

Another option you could try is the "Mr Aqua" line of tanks that Marine Depot sells.
I ordered the 7.5 Gal Frameless Bow and I'm very pleased with the Aesthetics.

The Do!Aqua line (ADA's cheaper brand) is very nice and very cheap, comparatively speaking. I think all of their <10 gallon rimless tanks are less than $100. Adgshop.com carries them (no affiliation).

Thanks for all the recs guys, really appreciated. I'm tempted to get the Fluval Epi since it is such a good deal (includes everything!), but I just don't like that "rockwall" in the background....which I would love to remove if possible.

Anyone know if I can actually take that rockwall off of the Fluval Epi?

Oh and does anyone know where I can get the best deals on Do! or ADG brands?

I just put together a Mr. Aqua 30c (7.6 gallon) tank and I'm impressed with the quality of the tank. Total build cost was under $200 for all the hardware including lighting, substrate, pressurized Co2 full setup, and the tank. Marine Depot definitely has the best price on the Mr. Aqua tanks. Mr. Aqua also just released a new line of "Low Iron" tanks with glass clarity that will rival ADA tanks. I didn't get a price list for these new tanks but I'd have to assume they are still cheaper than ADA.

Both tanks are 30c size. 12"x12"x12"
