Default The "I Love Riccia Club"

Since some of you have posted your fondness for this plant in the "other" riccia thread, I thought it would be only fair for you to have a place to confess your love for it.

So membership is now open to any new members who would like to admit that they actually like this plant or members that want to change "clubs" LOL

Ricci is a pretty cool plant. I grow it on the bottom of my tank attached to DW with very low light and some DIY co2...grows like a weed and looks great. Only problem is removing it from everywhere else in the tank.

I also have a post over the in the "I Hate Riccia" thread. I just can't make up my mind. I have reasons I love it and hate it although I've not had any for a few years I thought I'd post a pic of when I did have it. It covered the entire bottom of a 55 with a three inch thick layer of green pearling loveliness .

How did you keep it down on your substrate?
