I thought I would start a thread for those of you with other pets besides your fish! :mrgreen:

So here is my contribution: His name is Tucker and he is a 1 year old Boxer.

Thank you. Actually we go really lucky. He has been an excellent dog. He has never chewn anything we don't want him to and we had him house trained within 2 weeks of having him (we got him when he was 8 weeks old). The only problem we have is he is extremely active and loves throwing up on our nicest carpet! But besides that he is an excellent, lovable dog.

We keep Spike and Mercury(grey) . They help keep my tanks in action. As they love watching the three tanks most the day.

Mercury is thought to be 6 years old and Mr. spike is about 3.

This is Sylvia. We got her from the local humane society. After the spaying and shots and adoption fees, she cost about $150 :shock: The most we have ever spent for a kitty.
I get reminded of this constantly :hehe: She was my mother's day gift 2yrs ago.

... he goes over 16 lbs. and is like a lion and gets all the wifes attention.
We had 3 ferrets and when the last one died she said lets get a cat... well wanting a break from having critters to cramp our style I told her this figuring I was safe...

It has to be jet black, double-pawed and have long hair.... a woman she knew knocked on our door 3 days later holding this little black ball in her hands ! :shock: Ooooooof... so much for that plan !

This is, as my friend so delicatly put it, my possesed cat. Her name is Smudge, and shes going on 9 in July. Weighs about 5 pounds and is the most cat liek cat you have ever met :hehe: The second one is the very first pic I ever took with this camera, the day after christmas, in the dark. Smudge was NOT happy about it

this is minnie. she's a 15 year old bichon frise. she's about 10 lbs, although she looks a lot fatter than that in the pic! she had just woken up from her afternoon nap, and was not happy that i was taking her picture!



this is one of my firebellied toads. i have four of them in total. this one is wilma, although she turned out to be a he...



and this is kermit, my big fat mamma clawed frog. she has three other tankmates as well (one other albino, two green), but these guys are so hard to get a good picture of!



i have plenty more pics, but these are just some of my little ones. i kind of feel left out, i don't have a cat! :lol:

Prince was found under our kitchen window 1-9-91. He was about 8 weeks old and wet from a cold rain. He adopted us.

I stopped to check the fish in a pet store in August 98 and my wife spotted and fell in love with Chewy, our Lasha Apsa. Only animal I've ever bought, except fish.

Found Oscar at the entrance to our subdivision in Feb. 2000. He was about 2 years old and had several problems including heart worms and only weighted 8 pounds. Now he's healthy, happy and 17 pounds. He does have congestive hearty failure like I do and we take the same medicine.
