Hello All,
I'm new to the forums and planted fish tanks. I have set up a 10G tank for growing plants in my garage. It has been running for a little under 24 hrs. I have about 2 inches of organic potting soil and an inch of play sand over the top. I'm using 2 14 watt cfl bulbs for lighting.
Well, I noticed that there are a lot of little bubbles in the sand and soil. I wet the soil and sand before I added water and I patted it down pretty good as well. The water is pretty clear too.
Are these bubbles bad?
and if so what should I do about them?
Also I added the description of my 10G if anyone had any advice for that.
Thanks for any help and advice!
