i bought 6 tiny SAEs two days ago, and instead of eating alges, they only swim around the glass, looking at reflections... ...
i am worried that they would starve to death.
have anybody else encountered this problem? :fish:

Sometimes it takes time for fish to get used to their new digs. Are they eating flakes or pellets when you feed the other fish?
Do you have BBA in your tank? That is what they are famous for devouring.

Also make sure they're real SAEs...
Real SAEs have the black stripe running all the way through and to the very end of the clear fin; it doesn't stop at the beginning of the fin...
I still see lfs' selling non-genuine SAEs around here.

Yup, I'm aiming to get the meter this week and pass it along shortly thereafter.
