Hello nano tankers, here is my shrimp bowl recently set up. Some may remember it from a previous setup, but it's now under new ownership. :fish:
Equipment
4g triple sphere bowl
Filtration/circulation-- Red Sea Nano HOB
Heating-- none
Lighting-- 23W CFL @ 6500K
No dosing
No CO2
Hardscape
5 lbs sand
Malaysian driftwood
Kingdom Plantae
Aegagropila linnaei, Fontinalis antipyretica, Hydrocotyle leucocephala
Kingdom Animalia
Neocaridina heteropoda "Sakura"
The bowl is made of a single piece of glass and holds about 4 gallons in total. The lighting stays on for 12 hours a day. There is no heater as the light heats up the water enough, but I will keep an eye on the temperature during the colder seasons.
The main world has a piece of driftwood and a handful of willow moss. Moon #1 has a single Marimo ball and Moon #2 has some Brazilian Pennywort.
The RCS run all around the bowl, in and out of the tunnels into the smaller spheres however they please.
All in all, it's a very simple and enjoyable setup and is more of a side project from my main tank.
World Main

Moon #2
