I figured at one point that would work; however, if the HOB sucks up the co2 it'll just release it through the surface inside the filter will it not? I think that works better with canister filters as it chops the bubbles into finer bubbles. Might i suggest ceramic diffuser? I have a 55 gallon tank with a powerhead that chops the co2 bubbles to fine bits; however, i feel like that will be too big for the edge...
