+1 on the Aquatic Specialties. The staff is knowlegable, helpful, and friendly. Their tanks are the cleanest I have seen in the area. Even if they are out of your way, it is worth it to drive there. I live in Metairie and go out of my way to get my plants and fish there instead of going to closer lfs or even the more convenient large chain pet stores.
