Unless you knock it over in your stand with a 20lb sledge attached to a pneumatic arm, I wouldn't worry too much.
Use a bungee cord to hold it where you want it.
Many times, you'll ruin your regulator if you knock it over and liquid CO2 gets into it.

No it's not every few months. It's actually 5 years.
To the OP, I bungee cord to my tank stand. Can't get knocked over even if I accidentally knocked into it.
