I've read on here that adding ammno shrimp to the planted tanks is helpful in controling bba algae, I would like to try this but I have a small problem (well actually 8 small to med problems
; 4 kubota botia, 2 straita botia, and 2 yo-yo botia) I was told that these loaches would finish off any ammno shrimp that hit the water......
Is there any truth in this? They don't seem to be bothering the half dozen ghost shrimp already in the tank.
Or would it be better to get rubber lip plecos instead? and how many would I need for a 100 gal tank?
