Less bypass overall and still exorbitant surface area for a 7 gallon tank I'd think. I just fit a 100ml Purigen on top of that as a final stage and the first (lower) chamber has some ceramic rings topped with the stock sponge for mechanical.

Yeah, that should definitely do it for a 7 gallon tank lol.
