Good luck and when I put my hands in my tank I try to only do one change at a time so that way if something is thrown off I know exactly what caused it. If I make a bunch of little changes than something happens I never know what caused it. Water changes are hard though cause you are usually doing more than one change at a time be it preening or pruning or cleaning your filter or what have you.
But I try to keep my hands out of there as often as possible and that seems to help a lot. I seem to cause more damage by trying to fix things where most seem to straighten out and balance out in the long run.
If my shrimp are producing and look ok and are not sitting in one spot for extended periods of time or they are doing back flips trying to get out of the tank than I'm at peace atleast in terms of their tank. Lol
