thanks for the suggestion.

i think i might just leave it there as it really doesn't bother me...i've come to learn to block out the filter intake and the heater. i don't know if the heater is fully submersible, as they usually have a recommended water level on them.

no plants yet, but they are on their way. as soon as i get them and update the tank, i'll post photos
