I have 4 white cloud minnows in a small river tank. Just today, I noticed a tiny neon-blue streak in the tank: a baby minnow.
It appears to be the only one. This doesn't come as a surprise, since the tank is only a month old, has a decent current, and is cared for by a newbie. Anyway, now I have a baby minnow--definitely at least a week or more old. I picked up some "first bites" food and I think I saw it eat a few bits of it.
Is there anything else I can do to help it out? I know most breeders take a lot of precautions to assure the health of their babies. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources available for a separate fry tank.
I'll be looking online for advice, but I figured I'd also ask the seasoned pros here at the planted tank. Any advice or suggestions are welcome, especially concerning the care of white cloud minnow fry.
