No luck with searching/googling - How do I splice a moonglow LED from main LED.

Basically in my case I am looking to take the 3 switch functionality of the Aqueon modular LED fixture put the moonglow on a seperate power cord so I can put it on its own timer.

Anyone know a link describing in detail what needs to be done? or perhaps a how to video?
