yes, for now i am going to get some dry ferts premixed and going to dose to see how things go from there. now that i have that taken care of - my other question!

"so i recently restarted a tank i was storing for few months now, and along with it the old AS i had in that tank.
After i filled the tank with water it was the usual cloudiness but after a day i noticed that the top surface layer is significantly reduced to powdered form... i think if i were to plant anything it would go all over the place!
any suggestions? should i remove the said powdered form of AS by just creating a lot of distburance in the water and quickly suck out the entire water?
or should i just hope that it'll eventually go below the top substrate level, as i think smaller particles normally do over time. "
