High TDS is not that big of a factor for RCS, to low could be a issue and that is just because the GH might be 1-2 and would cause the shell on the shrimp to be to soft and not be able to molt out of it. Add some Calcium Montromilite. That should help and check the water conditons GH KH PH Nitrite Nitrate and Ammonia.
