Hey Everyone,

I am currently cycling an aquarium which will be used to hatch rainbow trout eggs, these eggs are typically hatched around 10 C (50 F), so to achieve this temperature I am using an aquarium chiller.

My question is will the tank cycle quicker at room temperature or does it matter? The tank temperature is currently at 6 C (42 F) because I must acclimate the eggs which are currently in 2 C water.

Is beneficial bacterial growth affected by water temperature?
