Thanks! I did worry about that part but so far I haven't seen anything show any troubling signs. The Ramshorn snails like to cruise up to the water's surface and sit in the neck for a bit then cruise back down. I don't know if that's a sign or not, but if I see any issues, then I can always lower the water level to the top under the neck to have maximum oxygen exchange There's no reason a small neck would prevent oxygen being exchanged if the water level is lower.

Thank you. The reason why I made this thread was because I want a LED light that will grow the plants. I have no idea if what I posted or that Ikea will do the job or not. If nobody knows the answer, then I guess I'll have to find a nice desk lamp and use some kind of CFL instead.
