Thanks for the tip! Since I've already bought it, I'm probably going to stick with the CaribSea Super Naturals this time around, but I will definitely do the quarry thing if I tear this down or get a different tank. Really great idea.

If you go to a good one, you can find different types of dirt. I try to choose the ones that have higher clay content and less debris. Usually quarry dirt has been sitting out in the sun for long periods of time. I've used it (minimal washing) with great success. Good luck! Looking forward to seeing your progress.
