Wait so you want to siphon out old water?
I bought a clear hose from Homedepot, they sell it by the foot. To start the siphon what i do is take the hose to the sink & fill it with water, then hold both ends with my thumb, walk towards the main tank & drain the water into a bucket. for filling I also do the same method, but keep in mind when filling main bucket has to be higher than tank
