Yeah, that outward growth is what I was expecting from this one, but I guess I'll just see what happens as time goes on since it is fairly new. I'd be interested to know how yours does for comparison. In the near future my swords will probably be under low to moderate lighting.

I have a few types of moss in there, more than I knew what to do with . The floating balls is dwarf riccia netted (using a bath puff, or whatever it is called) using a bio-ball and a small zip tie. They are tied off to the rocks (netted dwarf riccia) with fishing line. There is also regular riccia tied on stich point canvas and suction cupped to the glass. The other moss is java moss stuck on driftwood. The riccia has only been in for about two weeks, so it hasn't filled in well.

Here is a better picture of the riccia if that is what you are referring to.
