I feed mine regular TetraMin food. The angelfish in the tank get bloodworms often, but I don't ever see them eating the bloodworms. The past couple of days I have actually been feeding them some flightless fruit flies, drosophila hydei. That may be what triggered the spawn but I am not sure. The temperature I am not sure because I haven't gotten a thermometer yet, but the heater is set on 80 degrees. I could have sworn it was warmer in there but I guess not. The tank is a 75 gallon. I just set it up a few weeks ago.
Females are more plump and have a deeper, larger body.

Males are smaller, and look a lot like neon tetras in body shape. They do not have large bellies like the females do.

This is the patch where they spawned. It is made up of limnophila sessiflora.
I am super excited to maybe get some babies out of these guys!
