Hey guys i have just installed my Eheim 2217 to replace my internal filter on my 66g. Im just wondering how long i will have to have them running at the same time for, before i can remove the internal.

PS does anyone know how long its supposed to take until the Eheim Stops its initial humming ?(removing the air inside the canister)
