Very similar to what I do. My tank is on the smaller side (20g) so I just use a 5g mop bucket and fill it from the sink then use a Maxi-Jet 1200 to pump it into the tank lol

I found I can pump straight from the bathroom sink to the using the pump in the sink and filling the sink some but I don't feel the bathroom sink water is very clean or safe (with toothpaste, for example) so have been using a mop bucket and pump water from it to the tank. I do 50% a week and it takes about 10 minutes or so this way

btw Diana I always like your posts - you've given me a lot of ideas and made me think of easier ways to do a lot of things with my tank
