On an unrelated note... can I just say how much I love blue bees? They might not be the most colorful shrimp out there but they're so hardy! I got 5 about a year ago from someone on this forum selling them as "unidentified shrimp" and after a year in a 2.5 gallon tank with numerous fish (including a sparkling gourami who would hunt anything that moved), I still have a couple dozen. They stay teeny tiny so they're perfect for nano tanks. And they don't seem to care about pH or hardness at all. This tank has a high pH and a gH of 14 or something, I honestly don't remember, and yet I've never seen a dead blue bee. For comparison, I couldn't get *cherries* to breed in this tank and many of them would die from being unable to molt.
Also, do you guys know of any other shrimp that stay as small as blue bees?
you can also try white back shrimps since they look and have the same size
