Hello
I have the original AquaticLife CO2 regulator with solenoid
http://www.marinedepot.com/AquaticLi...FICORE-vi.html
which I use with standard 5lb CO2 bottle. Recently, I bought an
Archaea CO2 diffuser, which apparently is more difficult to push the gas through than my previous diffusers. It looks like the output pressure my regulator produces, as it came from the factory (30+ psi), is not sufficient for this diffuser. So, I would like to increase the output pressure of my regulator.
Now, the issue with AquaticLife CO2 regulator is that the blue knob on the front is apparently not an adjustment knob (as one would expect) but rather some sort of ornamental cover. It doesn't have any facets, notches or slots that would allow one to use some tool to turn it.
Interestingly enough, the older version of the regulator manual explicitly refers to this part as an adjustment knob

while the newer version no longer does so, stating that the output pressure is "factory preset"

Well, as I said above, I don't like that "factory preset" and I would like to change it. Does anyone have experience with adjusting the regulator? Should I attempt to grab and turn the blue knob? Or is this just some cover that I should remove in order to access some sort of adjustment screw underneath?
