My Africana has been going 8 months and still buffering strong. With most tanks the TDS rises over time. Food, poop, ceramics breaking down I think all contribute. Yeah, I also only feed my shrimps every 2-3 days. Try really small WC with pure RO to bring your TDS down. 3-5%.
