If you added more light, your Staurogyne repens will carpet for you instead of growing up. Then again, that also comes with more maintenance! You could also try some MQ or MM as a foreground carpet. It' works quite well for me under moderate lighting. Grows slow but stays LOWwwwww
Yeah I hate those pipes! Hoping to switch to some lower profile gear in the future.
The staro is carpeting a little, but mostly grows up. I have 3 t8s over the top and I am finally to a spot where the algae is at bay so adding more light is out
I may just let the staro grow up as a mid ground plant and try to find a carpet plant for the foreground...
Suggestions for a carpet plant that would work for my lighting? (what is is MQ and MM?)
