You can do a nice little planted tank with a 20 gallon. It isn't so big as to be overwhelming. Also, it is big enough for a few shoals of nice fish. What would you like to do in this tank? Do you have any fish in mind?
A nice piece of driftwood for a centrepiece would look good, too.
