I am thinking about revisiting this idea. I have been clearing some more room in the basement fish room. I would want to put this tank in a nice spot so that it will work as a display.

Does anybody have suggestions for four-foot rimless tanks? My original idea to use a standard 75 with the top rim removed and the water lowered several inches below the rim might be the most feasible. That kind of setup has the important advantage that it helps to deter jumping fish from clearing the top rim.
