After doing some looking I found out that you can purchase this at most home improvement stores in the water softener area. I think I will try it out in the next week and will post results.

Closed I have had 2 discus jump to there death. Found them stuck to the carpet. I do like the look of a open top with driftwood and the tops of plants popping the surface. But discus are expensive.
