Rhizome is the size of a grain of white rice. I don't think it's Petite, this plant is much softer than Anubias. Leaves sprout from the rhizome.

Also if you ask nicely, Zid can show you a picture of the white crystal sulawesi. That is if the simoni doesn't look like the shrimp you have.

I use this granite beach shell gravel mixed with a bit of aragonite + distilled/RO. Gotta experiment with the ratios though, I get problems if the ph is past 8.5+.

I have a todder and a preschooler so I have a d3100 in case it ends up in the toilet or dragged down the hallway. Pair it with the little speedlight and it's a nice "cheap" dslr.

Unfotunately eyes are the only thing that won't regenerate on a shrimp. But if there aren't any predators in the tank and she can still find food, she can have a very nice shrimp life :)
