Hey, thanks for the question. Again, a lot of things aren't finalized just yet but what I could tell you is the ramp timer pro will allow you to ramp up, ramp down and change to moonlight.

To be honest, for starters that want to be successful in growing plants, the Satellite Plus may not be the best option simply because it grows plants fairly slow even if everything else is perfect....

The 3 way splitters are 3 ft. I think you're right in that it will be a perfect time for replacing them with the Truelumen 8000k. they'll actually be discontinued soon.

Just checked out this thread. Super sweet!! We made the mistake of using the same racks for some of our 40b setups and the 2 longer bars ended up splitting even with 2 layers of 5/8 inch...

I wouldn't commit to a full "background" of plants as it tends to make aquascapes look very unnatural. For a plant in the background, I would prefer "Cabomba" over the Vals.

I can't seem to see any of the pictures except the first two. The second layout of the rocks looks good, but the rightmost set of rocks looks very flat and weak compared to the rest.
