mine grows fast...mine is green and likes to spread out more than grow up but once it spreads out it all grows up at once...give it some time it will get weedy on you

Helanthium species maybe? The leafs remind me of my Sao Paulo (minus the color though...that one gets pink) but the thickness and leaf texture seem to match.

Well, the rhizome kinda spreads under the substrate for some crypts and it sprouts new leafs in new places...so its kinda like a runner but also not exactly.

What are your tank conditions? Mine is in dirt with co2, which might be why is spreads where I don't want it...

I personally think it was just one funky leaf, I wouldn't call anything a cultivar unless you were able to make the plant display that in a stable and consistent fashion.
